
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Lyle Grimes, Chad Moody, Rao Ali, M.D., and Sandra Longoria, D.M.Sc., to the Texas Physician Assistant Board. Their terms will run until February 1, 2031, pending Senate confirmations. Lyle Grimes is a global account manager for Choice Hotel International from Cedar Park. He studied Government at The University of Texas at Austin and has experience in community and business organizations. Chad Moody is a physician assistant at Preferred Hospital Leasing from Hemphill. He has a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin University and a Master of Science from Baylor College of Medicine, with experience in educational governance, as reported by the Office of the Texas Governor.
Dr. Rao Ali, M.D., from Southlake, is a double board-certified specialist in interventional pain medicine and the founder and CEO of Premier Pain Centers. He completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center and fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Hospital. Sandra Longoria, D.M.Sc., from Harlingen, specializes in internal medicine and geriatric care. She holds a Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg, as stated by the Office of the Texas Governor.
