Local authorities in Harris County have apprehended a suspect allegedly involved in a string of financial and identity theft crimes, following a collaborative operation between constables and the U.S. Postal Inspector Service. Last Friday deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 4, including the West District Patrol and K9 Unit, aided in executing a federal arrest warrant at an address on Ivymont Drive.
The suspect, identified as Quinton Wayne Hogan, has been implicated in conjunction with several other suspects for a series of offences including Bank Fraud, Mail Theft, Identity Theft, and the Possession of Counterfeit Postal Keys. These crimes have reportedly affected residents across the surrounding areas of Harris County, Texas, creating a cause for concern among local inhabitants and law enforcement alike, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook post.
In a statement issued by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4, "Quinton Wayne Hogan was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, for the Federal Warrant. His bond was set at $80,000.00 out of the 230th District Court." This arrest feeds into a larger narrative of collaborative efforts between local and federal agencies to combat the ongoing issue of white-collar crime which plagues our communities.
