The Hawai'i Island Police Department is making a renewed appeal to the public for information regarding 37-year-old Rick Andrade of Kurtistown, who has been missing since February of this year. Andrade was reported last seen in the vicinity of Volcano Road and Enos Road in Kurtistown on February 11. However, detectives have updated their reports with new sightings of Andrade later that evening around 8:30 p.m. near 40th Avenue and Pohaku Drive, as indicated in a recent Hawaii Police Department.
Rick Andrade is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 189 pounds, he has short black hair and brown eyes. Distinctive tattoos are a hallmark of Andrade's appearance, including a ti-leaf lei band tattooed on his right bicep, his last name "Andrade" in large lettering across the upper back, and additional lettering on his right shin.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Andrade to come forward.
