In a significant crackdown on suspected drug trafficking, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced nearly a dozen arrests tied to a meticulous investigation at a Northside motel. The social media post by the law enforcement agency delivered a stern warning to those involved in the illicit trade: "A clear message to drug dealers: We will find you—no matter where you operate."

The outcome of two prolonged investigations led the Street Level Narcotics team to execute searches across five rooms at a Harts Road motel, where they managed to barely unveil a substantial cache of drugs and weapons. The haul included 56,950 potentially fatal doses of Fentanyl (113.9 grams), 117.4 grams of MDMA, 31.7 grams of Ecstasy, 25.9 grams of Cocaine, and 840.6 grams of Marijuana. Additionally, officers found 5 firearms, two of which were reported stolen, along with $1,660 in cash.

Ten individuals have since been incarcerated at the Duval County jail, facing felony charges. The names of the accused, as reported by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, include Dwight Perry, Stephan Harrison, Chanell Williams, Christopher Scott, Ceteria Milton, Frank Normon, Drake Catchings, Abdeta Ofga, Preston Fantroyal, and Bernard Birch.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office continues to emphasise the community's role in combating drug-related crimes, urging residents to promptly report any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods. "We will not stop pursuing those who bring dangerous drugs into our community," the office declared, proving their unwavering commitment to eradicate the peril of substance abuse from local streets.
