A man was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance at the Four Seasons Campground in Roane County after Kingston Police used a drone to locate him. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, saw 48-year-old Timothy Faulk reportedly yelling and refusing to cooperate with responding officers from the Kingston Police Department.

When attempts were made to detain Mr. Faulk, he evaded capture by running into a large culvert beneath Interstate 40. This resulted in a joint search involving the Kingston Police, Roane County Sheriff's Office, and Tennessee Highway Patrol, with a drone quickly mobilized to aid in the chase. According to a report by WVLT, "officers found him using a drone and took him into custody."

The charges levied against Faulk include domestic assault, resisting arrest, evading arrest, disorderly conduct, and interference with an emergency call, as confirmed by the Kingston Police Department in a social media post. The original call to the campground on Farmer Road came about shortly after 5:00 p.m., as noted in the same post.

The successful deployment of the drone played a pivotal role in locating Faulk. "Officer [Alex] French was able to locate where Timothy Faulk was hiding and directed officers to Timothy Faulk's location where he was taken into custody," the Kingston Police Department stated on Facebook. This technology seems to truly expand the capabilities of law enforcement to manage quickly, even in difficult terrain or obscured environments. WATE further detailed that Faulk was later taken into custody after a police drone was deployed in the area.
