The search was initiated after Trujillo did not obey a court-ordered mandate to transfer custody of her daughter to the Department of Children and Family Services, leading authorities to label the case as one involving child concealment.
According to a bulletin issued by the Sheriff's Department and information obtained by FOX LA, the pair may be traveling in a 2022 gray Toyota Camry, California license plate 9SPL838; the department has described Christina Trujillo as 5'4" inches tall and 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, while Luluwa Estrada is 2 feet tall, weighing 30 pounds, with light brown hair, brown eyes, and last seen donning a pink pajama gown.
The appeal for tips extends to anyone with potential information regarding their whereabouts, emphasizing the critical nature of the search for Luluwa. The public is urged to contact Detective Fujiwara or the on-duty Watch Commander at the Lakewood Station by calling 562-623-3500.
