
A homicide investigation is currently underway after a man was discovered deceased in an apartment situated in the San Fernando Valley. According to CBS News Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department was summoned for a welfare check in the 12600 block of Riverside Drive last Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Upon entering the apartment, responding officers were confronted with the lifeless body of the male victim. The identity of the man remains undisclosed, pending the task of informing the next of kin. Declared dead at the scene, the details surrounding his demise are scarce, as investigators have yet to suggest a suspect or establish a clear motive for the crime.
The LAPD's Operation Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are actively seeking information from the public to aid in apprehending those responsible for the death of the male victim, found deceased. LAPD's official newsroom relayed that no suspect information has surfaced thus far in their inquiries.
