Marietta's beloved vintage and horticulture event is back this year with the annual Root House Plant Sale & Antique Market. Slated for the last Saturday in April, the event is the go-to place for finding unique antique items and Georgia-grown plants, all while benefiting the preservation of local history. As reported by the City of Marietta's official announcement, the sale is set to take place on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm at the William Root House in Marietta, Georgia.
For lovers of old-world charm and gardening aficionados alike, the event promises an experience rich with the spoils of history and nature. Antique and vintage décor will stand alongside heirloom and native plants from the Root House gardens. Further adding a dash of color and scent, Emma’s Flower Truck will be available offering ready-made bouquets to attendees. Those eager to get a first look at the treasures can attend an exclusive preview sale the day before, tomorrow from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with tickets available for purchase online.
Anticipation for this year's event is high, thanks to the charm of the William Root House's historic gardens and the unique finds that vendors bring each year. According to the city’s announcement, the Root House Plant Sale & Antique Market will be held at 80 N Marietta Parkway, NW, and those ready to explore the wide selection on offer can find tickets and more information at RootHouseMuseum.com/PlantSale.
