Two Memphis residents were taken into custody earlier this week in connection with the disappearance of Huntsville man Ronald Dumas Jr., law enforcement officials have confirmed. Quintarius Shikelion White, 32, faces charges of first-degree kidnapping, while Kierra Symone Clark, 27, was arrested for conspiracy to commit kidnapping, as was reported by Action News 5.
Dumas has been missing since December 15, 2024, prompting an intensive investigation that led authorities to the suspects. The Memphis Police Department, and the U.S. Marshals Service in cooperation with Huntsville Police conducted the arrests. According to FOX13 Memphis, the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed the pair was apprehended in Parkway Village on Tuesday.
Following the arrest, officials in Madison County are working on extraditing White and Clark to face their charges, as revealed by Huntsville Police Department. On Feb. 7, Dumas' case was elevated from a missing person to an abduction, suggesting he "is believed to have been abducted and in danger of bodily harm or death", this harrowing turn of events was reported by WREG.
Three additional individuals remain at large, and are connected to the case: Toure Laron McLaurin, 33, of Memphis for first-degree kidnapping; Sabrina Rochelle Chambers, 27, of Huntsville for first-degree kidnapping, and Carissa Cash, 33, of Memphis for first-degree receiving stolen property. The public has been urged to report any information on their whereabouts to local law enforcement. In a statement obtained by Action News 5, those with information may contact Investigator Gregory Hayden at 256-427-5485 or leave anonymous tips at 256-532-7463.
Court records reviewed by WREG show that White, Clark, and McLaurin have a history of serious crimes, including kidnapping. In February 2024, White was charged with aggravated kidnapping and trafficking for commercial sex acts from incidents in the previous year. Clark and McLaurin also faced serious charges. This criminal history makes Dumas' disappearance even more concerning, leaving the community anxious for answers and justice.
