In an attempt to curb the increasing incidents of road rage and aggressive driving in Memphis, local law enforcement agencies have come together to launch "Operation 360." The joint initiative, announced at a press conference last Friday, includes the Memphis Police Department (MPD), the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO), and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), according to a social media post by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

The operation focuses on continuous traffic enforcement within Memphis, specifically targeting Highway 385 and the interstate highways crisscrossing the area. During the announcement, SCSO Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner had a simple message for the public: "assist our efforts by not engaging in aggressive driving or road rage, which often leads to further violence," as per the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
The joint operation by THP, SCSO, and MPD represents a coordinated traffic enforcement effort targeting high-risk driving behaviors linked to recent road incidents. The agencies plan to increase enforcement activity over the coming days, with ongoing monitoring intended to address and reduce such behaviors over time.
