Philadelphia residents can breathe a sigh of relief as the Philadelphia Police Department has successfully located Safiyyah “Fifi” Goodman, a 16-year-old girl who had been reported missing from the 35th District. According to an update from the police department, Safiyyah, last seen on April 5th, is no longer an endangered missing person case. The teenager's disappearance had prompted public calls for assistance in the northwest area of Philadelphia, with detailed descriptions of her appearance and attire being widely circulated in hopes of a safe return.
The original notice described Safiyyah as standing 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds, with brown eyes and a heavy build. Her last known outfit was characterized by all black Muslim clothing, and she was spotted on the 57XX block of North 3rd Street.
No details have been released regarding the circumstances under which Safiyyah was found or her condition upon being located.
