
A red motorcycle struck two people in a hit and run incident in South Seattle. The collision occurred around 8:20 p.m. near Martin Luther King Junior Way South and South Alaska Street, injuring a 59-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The Seattle Fire Department arrived quickly and provided medical assistance before transporting the victims to Harborview Medical Center. The man is in stable condition, and the woman, who suffered serious head trauma, is in critical condition. Patrol officers confirmed that they were struck while crossing in the crosswalk, as stated by the Seattle Police Department.
A motorcyclist involved in a hit-and-run accident fled the scene on foot before authorities could arrest him. The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad is handling the case and is asking for help identifying the motorcyclist. Anyone with information is urged to call 911. Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and seek leads to locate the individual involved, as reported by the Seattle Police Department.
