An individual alleged to have broken into an apartment on the 1100 block of Baronne Street in New Orleans around noon on April 20, as reported by the NOPD News, is now the focus of a search to recover stolen property and hold the perpetrator accountable.
Amidst the items taken during the unlawful entry were several credit cards, which authorities claim were used fraudulently shortly after the theft occurred. The burglary and subsequent monetary deceit has sparked concerns about not only property security but also financial safety in the community, the credit cards they were used quickly after the burglary which adds a layer of financial fraud to the incident.
Police have distributed a photo of the suspect in the hopes that someone will come forward with information that could lead to an arrest.
