The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an appeal to the public for assistance in locating Aminah Wright, a missing teenager last seen on Sunday, around 5:00 p.m.
Wright, just 15 years old, disappeared from the 2200 block of Williams St. and is believed to possibly be in the vicinity of the 900 block of Reno Place. The police have not provided a description of her clothing at the time of her disappearance.
Standing at 5'0" and weighing 201 pounds, Aminah Wright's case has become a matter of urgency for local authorities. Despite the lack of information about her clothing, the urgency to find her remains undiminished, In a statement obtained by the Philadelphia Police Department's news blotter, they urge anyone with knowledge of Wright's whereabouts to immediately make contact with East Detectives at 215-686-3243 or to call 911.
