Winds from the northwest will lightly toss around at 6 to 10 mph. "Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing," the NWS detailed, with a calm wind eventually becoming east at 5 to 7 mph as night falls. The low-temperature hovers around 38 degrees.
Come Wednesday, Pittsburghers should possibly prepare to grab their umbrellas. The chance of showers starts slightly but grows, with showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 pm. The mercury is set to rise to nearly 69 degrees under the watch of a southeast wind slated to quicken and gust as high as 28 mph. The risk of precipitation is pegged at 50%, with the National Weather Service adding, "New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms."
Wednesday night's forecast does not look much drier. Showers are likely and may bring thunderstorms after 5 a.m. Cloud cover will persist, and temperatures will drop to a low of around 60 degrees. The National Weather Service notes that the "Chance of precipitation is 70%," with new rainfall possibly reaching between one-tenth and a quarter of an inch, but thunderstorms could drive those amounts even higher.
Thursday's weather narrative continues with a high likelihood of wetness—showers and potentially a thunderstorm are forecast before 5 p.m., and then showers are predicted to be more probable. According to the National Weather Service, the high should reach near 73 degrees, with a chance of precipitation sitting at a definitive 90%. Pittsburgh could see new rainfall amounts tally between a quarter and a half of an inch as "Southwest wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph," winds whip through the region.
