Patrol officers arrived shortly after midnight and found a man with a gunshot wound to his forearm. Officers applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding, according to the Seattle Police Department.
A man accidentally shot himself in the arm while attempting to unload his handgun, with the bullet passing through his arm and into a wall. Two witnesses at the scene called 911 and applied pressure to the wound. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
