A tragic crash occurred early morning on Reepsville Road in Vale, North Carolina, where a 26-year-old woman lost her life, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. According to WBTV, the incident occurred near Lewis Road around 5:20 a.m. yesterday, with troopers citing excessive speed as a significant factor in the crash.
The victim, Tiffany Lashae Reynolds, was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero when, for reasons not yet fully understood, she veered off the right side of the road, reentered the roadway, crossed the median, and crashed into a tree after becoming airborne. She was pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by WCCB Charlotte.
WSOC-TV reports that troopers are still piecing together the final moments of the crash, but the initial investigation suggests the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed for that section of the road.
