The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating several suspects involved in the vandalism of two police vehicles. According to the SLMPD, the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday last week in downtown St. Louis. The department has released images and descriptions of the suspects connected to this act of property damage.

It appears that while officers were busy elsewhere on a separate assignment, parked in the 0 block of S. Broadway, tires on their police Tahoe were sabotaged. Similarly, a second Tahoe suffered tire damage parked in the 700 block of Clark Street. The linkage of these acts to a blue Pontiac Torrent, observed with no license plates, surfaced from surveillance footage—tying the string of crimes through the weft of night.

Falling under the glare of the security cameras, Suspect #1 is pegged as a white male donning a grimed white tank top paired with green/brown cargo shorts, his feet clad only in white socks, destitute of shoes. The other culprits are shrouded in obscurity, their identities veiled as they are in all dark clothing, possibly with a "gator" face mask obscuring the lower half of their faces, as per SLMPD's description. An additional individual, Suspect #4, is pictured in a gray t-shirt matched with white basketball shorts and black Nike tennis shoes.

As the search continues, SLMPD is asking anyone with information to come forward, hoping the community can help bring those responsible to justice.
