The information, released via a social media post by the sheriff's office, ensured the community that student and staff safety at the school remains a critical concern.
Earlier that day, around 10:45 a.m., school authorities were alerted to a potential threat made by a student. In response, officials quickly contacted law enforcement, who arrived to secure the campus. The student suspected of making the threat was identified and arrested, preventing a potentially dangerous situation. As part of their statement, Chief Deputy Tim Phillips reinforced the gravity with which such incidents are handled, asserting, "Our agency takes all threats seriously and responds with swift and appropriate action." The Sheriff's office also expressed gratitude for the prompt action of school personnel and the cooperation from students.
