Three individuals are now behind bars following a string of burglaries in Sonoma County, with the Sonoma Sheriff's Office connecting them to a recent theft and the fraudulent use of stolen credit cards. The arrests were made near Santa Rosa Plaza Mall last Thursday after a black Jeep, previously seen at multiple burglaries' sites, came under scrutiny by Property Crimes Detectives and patrol deputies, as revealed in a social media post by the Sonoma Sheriff.

According to the sheriff’s post, deputies had been investigating a recent break-in where the Jeep was spotted leaving the scene. They then discovered that credit cards pilfered from the victim were being used at local businesses. The suspects, Anthony Miller, Britni Foy, and Romel Smith, were detained shortly after the Jeep was located near the mall. All three have prior records related to theft and burglary. Notably, Smith had been previously arrested in Sonoma County for similar offenses.

The suspects had the victim's credit cards, conclusively linking them to the crime. The Sonoma Sheriff's Office stated, "All three were arrested and booked into county jail." Detectives are probing the trio's connection to additional burglaries in the area.

Following the arrests, Miller was released with a citation to appear in court, while Foy's case is complicated by an out-of-state warrant and her upcoming court hearing. Meanwhile, Smith remains detained pending his court hearing.
