
A shooting in Uptown Charlotte last night left three people wounded. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released details, but preliminary reports from Medic suggest the shooting occurred on Alpha Mill Lane near North Brevard Street and E 12th Street, according to WBTV.
On arrival at the scene, officials discovered three victims with gunshot injuries. Medic officials confirmed that all three injured parties were transported to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. QC News reported specific details on their injuries, stating two suffered from serious injuries and one faced life-threatening injuries.
According to details obtained by WCNC Charlotte, the incident was reported around 9 p.m. The motive behind this shooting is still unclear as the investigation continues.
