
A person was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sunday night in the southwest Las Vegas valley. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near West Tropicana Avenue and Conquistador Street, near Hualapai Way. Dora Henderson, 22, was arrested in connection with the crash, according to 8 News Now.
Investigators found evidence at the scene and reviewed surveillance footage showing a silver SUV driving east on Tropicana Avenue and hitting a person who was kneeling or lying in the road. The vehicle did not stop or return. The suspected driver, Henderson, was later arrested and charged in connection with the hit-and-run. She is currently held at the Clark County Detention Center, as mentioned by 8 News Now.
A 41-year-old woman died after being hit by a vehicle in Las Vegas and was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center, as reported by FOX5 Vegas. Her identity has not been released pending notification of her family. Police released a photo of the suspect vehicle, a 2014 Ford Edge, which helped identify and locate the suspect, Henderson.
