The CSAB works closely as an advisory body to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors, with a key task being to recommend the distribution of the CSBG funds.

The CSA Board's roles, as detailed on Yolo County's news release, include conducting community needs assessments every two years, setting strategic goals, evaluating goals' implementation, monitoring service performance, and advocating for residents in poverty.
