A 14-year-old has been taken into custody connected to a shooting that injured a 20-year-old man in Salisbury, as reported by local authorities. The incident unfolded yesterday afternoon around 4:45 p.m. at Tabernacle Street near Forney Street. According to WBTV, responding officers discovered the young man with gunshot wounds, who was later airlifted to a Charlotte hospital and is currently in critical condition.
Salisbury Police Department's investigation led to the arrest of the juvenile, who now faces charges including assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, the department stated. WBTV detailed that because the accused is a minor, the police would not release further identifying details.
