The Anaheim Police Department is on the hunt for two women accused of burglarizing a residence in the city, specifically targeting an elderly individual's home. According to a KTLA report, the suspects, described as Eastern European females aged between 30 and 45, were caught on camera entering the home on Castle Avenue on March 23rd around 12:20 PM, the time when "the elderly resident was away," the authorities mentioned. The police have released stills from the surveillance footage depicting two dark-haired women entering the property.
The suspects reportedly took off with a safe containing $6,000 in cash along with important documents before fleeing the scene in a tan or brown older-model van, and anyone with relevant information or who might recognize these individuals from the stills is being urged to reach out to Detective Scaglione at 714-765-1185 or via email at [email protected], the public was alerted to this incident and a call for vigilance echoed through an Anaheim Police Department post on Instagram which was also sharing details about the burglary.
