The City of Boston is preparing for its upcoming Youth Jobs and Resource Fair, scheduled for tomorrow at the Reggie Lewis Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is intended for youth and young adults aged 14 to 24 and aims to connect over 2,200 registered participants with employers and support services, as per the City of Boston website.

Attendees will have access to early onboarding workshops, one-on-one job application assistance, and the option to open a bank account. Over 3,000 young people are already enrolled in the city's summer employment program, with more opportunities still available through the City of Boston's website.

The Youth Jobs and Resource Fair is part of a larger effort to provide paid summer employment. Additional job fairs and onboarding events will be held at BCYF Community Centers across various neighborhoods.

Families and youth are encouraged to attend. The event will include music, refreshments, and an appearance by Wally the Green Monster. More than 150 employment and resource organizations are expected to participate.

The summer job program runs from June 23 to August 29 and aims to surpass last year's total of 10,427 youth employed. Past participants have gained experience in fields such as law enforcement and legal services through placements with local organizations.
