The Camden County Police Department has issued an urgent plea on social media for assistance in locating a missing teenager from East Camden. In a Facebook post published yesterday, authorities shared that 16-year-old Joseph Smith has disappeared from his home on the 600 block of Randolph Street.
Smith is described as a black male, standing 5’6” and weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Desperation clinging to the raw edges of their message, the police detail areas where Smith may be found, stating he is known to frequent the 500 block of Vine Street and the 900 block of Ware Street.
The Camden County Police Department urges anyone who might have seen Joseph Smith or has any information about his current location to contact the CCPD tip line immediately. Through their channels, an echo resounds, a beacon of sorts: "Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the CCPD tip line at (856) 757-7042."
