The Camden County Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating 17-year-old Jahsir Wilbourne, who has been reported missing from his Parkside home. Jahsir was last seen at his residence on the 1400 block of Kaighn Avenue, according to a post shared by the Camden County Police Department on their Facebook page. He is described as a black male, 5'8" tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a red KIPP High School uniform accompanied by black pants.
To garner wider attention, social media users have been sharing the information and expressing support through prayers and calls to action. One community member, Dorothy Allen, commented on the post, "I hope and pray that this young man returns home safely. Asking everyone to pray and post. Please God let him be ok." Jahsir is known to frequent areas around Broadway, Lanning Square, and Centerville. The Camden County Police Department has encouraged anyone with information about Jahsir's whereabouts to contact the CCPD tip line.
Police have not provided specifics about the circumstances surrounding Wilbourne's disappearance.
