Last night, Dallas Love Field hosted its quarterly community meeting under the Good Neighbor Program umbrella, bringing residents and airport staff together in dialogue. Held at the Department of Aviation's Foxtronics Building, the May 6th event allowed the public to hear first-hand updates on the airport's projects and initiatives. The outstretched hand of the airport community aimed to create an informative and interactive experience for attendees.
The meeting started promptly at 6 p.m., and DAL staff prepared to address various concerns and aspirations of those who live and work near the airport. Registration for the event was required, a detail highlighted by the official call for attendance posted on the City of Dallas' website earlier in the week. For those who had any questions or issues with registering, assistance was merely a phone call away at the Love Field Airport Operations Center.
DAL encouraged attendees to engage actively during the meeting's Q&A session. Community members could submit their questions in advance at the time of registration, fostering a prepared and efficient discourse. According to the bulletin at the City of Dallas, "Attendees will also be able to participate in a Q&A session and are encouraged to submit questions in advance at the time of registration."
