Taylor Roy, a 31-year-old former Woodlands Mall security guard, has been arrested for a second time under accusations of filming minors. According to FOX 26 Houston, Roy, who had previously been brought into custody in Montgomery County for similar charges in 2024, was identified as the suspect in a new incident that took place last month on a Galveston beach.

The situation unfolded when a bystander notified a family that their child was being recorded by a man at the beach. Subsequently, the family managed to photograph the man, and the vehicle he was driving, then they shared this information with the Galveston Police. Roy was apprehended on a charge of invasive visual recording and is currently being held on a $75,000 bond, as reported by Click2Houston.

Galveston Police responded to the initial report and following their investigation, were able to issue a warrant for Roy’s arrest. The Galveston Police Department continues to look into the incident, they are also collaborating with the Montgomery County investigators, due to Roy's prior allegations which included recording young girls in various public areas and additional charges brought forth in December of 2024.

Roy's past charges have raised significant concerns as they extend beyond invasive visual recording; his home search in Montgomery County led to the discovery of more incriminating videos, and his spouse, Tasha, even admitted to having played a part in creating the recordings. In a statement obtained by Click2Houston, investigators have revealed that some of the footage uncovered included young girls undressing in a Forever 21 dressing room.

The Galveston Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact them or report anonymously through Galveston County Crime Stoppers. It has not been confirmed if bond conditions for Roy’s previous charges will be changed due to new allegations. However, a spokesperson from the Montgomery County District Attorney's office noted that committing a new offense while out on bond could lead to a change in bond conditions. Roy, a former children's tennis coach, is under intense scrutiny due to his actions.
