A driver struck a person and then fled the scene in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported the collision happened at the intersection of W. Flamingo and S. Las Vegas Blvd. A vehicle traveling eastbound hit someone crossing Flamingo outside the crosswalk, near the pedestrian bridge. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department  is asking the community for help regarding a recent hit-and-run incident. "The driver did not stop and fled the scene on foot," the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.

Witnesses are urged to provide any information to assist the investigation, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on their Facebook page.
