The Kauai Fire Department reported that Rescue 3 on Air 1, firefighters from Hanalei Fire Station, and American Medical Response personnel responded to the incident around 9:15 a.m., according to the County of Kauai.

Firefighters located an injured person on a trail and transported them by helicopter to Princeville Airport. At the airport, Engine 1, Truck 1, and AMR medics provided medical care. The Kauai Fire Department cleared the scene at 11:35 a.m., as reported by the County of Kauai.
