
Following a concerted two-month probe by King County Sheriff’s Office Special Emphasis Team (SET) out of Precinct 4, two individuals linked to a multi-area drug trafficking organization were arrested, marking another significant operation in the county’s ongoing battle against narcotics distribution.
The breakthrough came on May 2 and was the culmination of coordinated efforts involving detectives, deputies, and the indispensable support of dispatchers and K9 Quinn. This operation has credibly disrupted a drug network spanning Skyway, White Center, and Burien—an area increasingly under watch for illicit activities. The King County Sheriff's Office revealed in a social media post that "A two-month investigation culminated on May 2," where they "arrested two people in a drug trafficking organization that spanned Skyway, White Center and Burien."
In terms of contraband, the operation struck a hefty blow to the local drug market. Law enforcement officials were able to successfully take off the streets quantities of drugs, including 4.4 pounds of Heroin, 313.9 grams of Cocaine, 11.3 grams of Methamphetamine, 5.4 grams of Crack Cocaine, and a notably lethal 0.7 grams of Fentanyl powder. Aside from the drugs, authorities also confiscated a drug press die set, seized $91,154 in cash believed to be drug proceeds, and took possession of two vehicles reportedly utilized for narcotics distribution.
The arrested suspects were subsequently booked into King County Jail for Investigation PWI and VUCSA Conspiracy, echoing the relentless efforts of SET to forthrightly address and dismantle such illegal operations. According to the Sheriff’s office, the estimated street value of the narcotics apprehended sits at around $193,000—an indicator of the bust’s significant impact.
This latest enforcement action marks the fifth investigation into this particular drug association by SET, reinforcing the team's dedication to counteracting the flow of illegal drugs into communities. These ongoing operations send a clear message about the determination of local law enforcement to maintain strict vigilance and to actively pursue those involved in drug trafficking within King County.
