Dorian Jeri-Greene, the man once only a person of interest, has now been firmly charged with the murder of Jennah Siebert, a 24-year-old woman from Rostraver, Pennsylvania. According to WPXI, the charges presented against Jeri-Greene include criminal homicide, robbery, and burglary.
The tragic event unfurled on April 11th when Siebert was found shot to death inside her home. Details from the investigation, as released by the Westmoreland County District Attorney's office, relayed that Siebert's vehicle, along with jewelry and narcotics, was stolen from her house. To swiftly locate and charge Jeri-Greene, law enforcement combined their efforts to comprehensively review traffic cameras and surveillance video, which helped them to track down the stolen vehicle and eventually arrest Jeri-Greene in Tampa, Florida, on unrelated charges.
Significant breakthroughs in the case surfaced when investigators discovered a discharged cartridge casing near the bed, "consistent with a bullet from an AR-15 firearm," as stated in the report shared by WTAE. Moreover, evidence pointed to physical tampering at the crime scene—specifically, the removal of the electrical meter from its housing, and a safe in the basement with signs of forced entry.
Surveillance systems from inside the home played a crucial role, capturing images of a man, now alleged to be Jeri-Greene, dressed in dark clothing and carrying an AR-style rifle. These contentious images were instrumental in guiding investigators to closely follow his movements through cameras and license plate readers across Westmoreland and Washington counties. In what could only be described as a methodical piecing together of a grim puzzle, Jeri-Greene's apparent path was tracked from 3:18 a.m. on April 11th until 9:22 a.m. the same morning.
