A drug operation in Marietta, Georgia, was interrupted on Wednesday night when local police arrested four individuals, including two Memphis murder suspects. As reported by MDJ Online, authorities discovered a drug stash within a residence where the suspects were located.
Among the apprehended were Lacameron Jenkins, 24, and Martavious Jenkins, 34, wanted in Memphis for their involvement in a violent spree that left two dead and eight injured. The FOX13 Memphis reported that each had multiple warrants for two counts of murder and eight counts of attempted murder stemming from a triple shooting.
The Marietta police also took into custody two additional suspects, identified as Marie Jenkins, 25, and Jade Brown, 19, regional affiliates of the alleged felons facing their own set of narcotics allegations. According to the police, the house contained various substances including psilocybin mushrooms, THC gummies, oxycodone, and a substantial supply of marijuana which totaled around five pounds, WREG News Channel 3 reported.
The arrests mark a sharp turn in a case that stretched from the banks of the Mississippi to the suburbs of Atlanta, where a routine drug raid quickly escalated into a multi-agency collaboration to apprehend two individuals who had evaded law enforcement since the grisly crimes in Memphis.
