In a clear-cut operation against unlawful activities, the Memphis Police Department, in cahoots with the Shelby County District Attorney's Office, has clamped down on a local establishment, Infiniti Sports Bar & Grill, commonly known as Club Infiniti. The intervention follows investigations that led to the discovery that John Curry, 57, acted beyond his permissions, peddling alcohol without the necessary licensure. In a statement released on the Memphis Police Department's social media, the MPD underlined its commitment to rooting out businesses contributing to the nexus of crime in Memphis.
Curry is faced with multiple offenses, including Possession of Unstamped Liquor and Unlawful Sale of Alcoholic Beverages, as revealed by MPD's official post. Chief 'CJ' Davis was unequivocal in his message, stating, "This is not a one-and-done. There are other properties on our radar, and more actions are coming. Every business owner in this city has a choice: be part of the solution, or be held accountable.” Such enforcement actions arise from a grave incident that occurred at Club Infiniti last Tuesday, May 6 - a fatal shooting that claimed a life and sparked a continued investigation.
The Memphis Police Department has since turned to the community for assistance, releasing images of a suspect involved in the recent shooting and instigating public attention to the case. With the offer of a $4,000 reward by CrimeStoppers, the police are urging anyone with any piece of information to step forward and help bring about an arrest.
Details about the ongoing investigation are limited, but authorities remain focused on identifying and apprehending the suspect involved in the incident at Club Infiniti last Tuesday, May 6. The Memphis Police Department, in coordination with Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy, is committed to pursuing justice and ensuring the safety of the community.
