In a recent update, the Pasco Sheriff's Office reported that Rhonda Glassmyer, the 62-year-old woman previously reported as missing and endangered, has been found safe. Prior to this development, authorities were actively searching for Glassmyer, who had last been seen yesterday at around 12:30 a.m. in the Central Ave. area of Crystal Springs. Concerns were heightened due to her endangered status.
At the time of her disappearance, Glassmyer was described as having blue eyes, blonde hair, standing 5’4” tall, and weighing approximately 125 lbs. She was reported to be wearing a black shirt, a green jacket, black leggings, and a dark colored baseball cap, a detail noted to potentially aid members of the community in identifying her. The Pasco Sheriff's Office had requested anyone with information on Glassmyer's whereabouts to immediately reach out through their Non-Emergency Line or through their online tip system.
The Pasco Sheriff's Office did not provide details regarding the circumstances under which Glassmyer was located, but they confirmed her safety in a statement. The statement was a relief to those who followed the case and provided a positive conclusion to the search that had commenced just over a day prior.
During the search, the Pasco Sheriff's Office had urged the public to report any information to aid their efforts. They had clearly stated, "If you have any information on Glassmyer’s whereabouts, please call the Pasco Sheriff’s Non-Emergency Line at 727-847-8102, option 7." The community's vigilance was seen to be a critical component in such cases, wherein timely dissemination of identifying characteristics can often lead to a swift resolution. Now, with Glassmyer safely located, the details of her brief disappearance remain primarily out of public domain.
