For those planning their evenings, there is a slight reprieve with a low chance of 10 percent for showers and thunderstorms before 7 pm. The night is expected to be partly cloudy and maintaining a low around 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Heading into tomorrow, the forecast suggests a flip back to a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after the afternoon peaks, with a high close to 88 degrees under mostly sunny conditions. While new rainfall might be less than a tenth of an inch, thunderstorms could bring higher amounts.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the forecast from NWS indicates a pattern of mostly sunny skies leading into Sunday, with daytime highs comfortably sitting in the mid-80s. It is preparing for a shift to a north wind around 5 mph. Saturday night will follow suit with partially clouded skies and an expected low around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Thus offering a moment's respite from the rain-heavy narrative of the earlier part of the week.
Moving into next week, the summer vibe continues with sunny days peppered with slight chances of showers and thunderstorms, especially after the afternoon hours hit. Monday will present itself with sunshine and a high near 88 degrees, while winds are forecast to pick up slightly, starting off light and shifting to a 5 to 10 mph breeze in the afternoon.
