The City of North Las Vegas is expanding Craig Ranch Regional Park with new multiuse fields. Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown will unveil the fields during a grand opening event on May 29 from 11 a.m. to noon. In partnership with Las Vegas Lights FC, a youth soccer clinic will be held, where 50 participants will use the new facilities, according to the City of North Las Vegas.
A $23 million investment covers over 1.86 million square feet. The project includes six fields with both natural and artificial turf for soccer, football, and lacrosse. Additionally, 2,649 parking spaces have been added to support events held at the urban park, as reported by the City of North Las Vegas.
Gatherings will be held at the entrance on Commerce St. at 628 W. Craig Rd. The City of North Las Vegas has installed lighting, security, and a perimeter fence to ensure safety for evening sports leagues and regional events. The venue includes man-made meadows and green spaces to support the City’s environmental goals. City officials and the local soccer franchise collaborated to develop the facility.
