The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the community in the search for a missing juvenile, Sahir Hinton, who was last seen almost a week ago. Sahir, a 13-year-old male, has been missing since last Wednesday, when he was last spotted at around 1:00 p.m. on the 1700 block of North 27th Street in Philadelphia.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department's news release, Sahir is described as being 5’1” tall, weighing around 140 lbs, with black hair and black eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a white t-shirt, and black pants, a detail that might assist in identifying him among the public.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Sahir’s whereabouts to come forward. Individuals with relevant information are asked to contact Central Detectives at the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-3093.
