The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an alert, calling on the community to assist in the search for Carol Epps, a 59-year-old woman reported missing from the city's 17th District. Epps, who resides at 14xx S. 28th St., has been described as 5’9” tall, weighing about 190 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. The last known contact with Epps was on May 23, 2025, according to statements from her daughters.
Family members, becoming increasingly concerned after not hearing from her over several days, decided to check on Ms. Epps at her home on May 26. They found her residence silent, with no response to their attempts at making contact, leading to a call to 911. Emergency services, which included Police and Fireboard personnel, promptly reacted and gained entry to the home only to find that Ms. Epps was nowhere to be seen. With the initial details surrounding her disappearance remaining scarce, the Philadelphia Police reported.
