Following an extensive multi-agency operation, a Sebastopol man was arrested yesterday on charges of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The Sebastopol Police Department, in collaboration with Cal Fire Law Enforcement, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, the Northern California Computer Crimes Task Force, and the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, executed search warrants at two Northern California residences.
The searches, which took place at locations on Redwood Avenue in Sebastopol and on Skillman Lane in rural Petaluma, were the result of an investigation that began in November 2024. The Sebastopol Police Department disclosed in a Facebook post that the suspect identified was likely in possession of CSAM, information that the department initially received last year. Picked up by the department's specially trained CSAM investigator, painstaking effort has been devoted to the case since then.
Further details emerged as 23-year-old Raymond Jensen was arrested at the culmination of the search warrant services. Charged with California Penal Code 311.11(a), which specifies the illegal possession of CSAM, Jensen now faces a legal battle as he was booked into the county jail. The bail for Jensen, according to the Sebastopol Police Department's social media update, has been set at $30,000.
