The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office (SJSO) has opened the doors once again for aspiring young minds interested in the field of law enforcement. Through a recent Facebook post, the department announced it's accepting applications for its Level Up Program, geared towards rising juniors and seniors in high school looking to gain insight into the world of police work.
"This is an opportunity for rising junior and senior high school students to learn all aspects of law enforcement, visit areas of the Sheriff's Office, participate in scenario-based exercises, and network with law enforcement professionals," the SJSO stated in a Facebook post today. The program is scheduled to run from June 2 to 6 and provides students with a structured overview of law enforcement practices through hands-on activities and guided tours.
Participants will observe the operations of the Sheriff's Office and engage in scenario-based exercises that simulate real-world situations. The initiative is aimed at students interested in exploring a career in law enforcement. With the extended application deadline set for next Saturday, those interested can find more information and application forms on the SJSO Facebook page.
