
The St. Petersburg Police Department recently took a moment to publicly honor the dedication of its volunteers in an annual recognition banquet. The event, hosted at Carrabba's on 4th St., was a salute to those who consistently and selflessly give their time to support both the department's and the community's well-being.
According to a social media post by the St. Petersburg Police Department, the impact of the volunteers stretches significantly, to vastly echo beyond the bounds of measurable gratitude. Several standout individuals were recognized at the banquet for their exceptional service over the past year.
The event presented awards to notable volunteers, including Jo Anne Antalik who was named Road Patrol Volunteer of the Year, Deacon Joe Grote who received the honor of Volunteer Chaplain of the Year, and Maureen Doyle, acknowledged as the CPAAA Volunteer of the Year. These individuals, among many, have lent not only their time but also their expertise to further the department’s mission.
