The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has announced that repaving work will take place on the westbound lane of U.S. 26 between Haley Road and Palmquist Road starting at approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, the right westbound lane will be closed while crews carry out the work. Flaggers will be present to guide traffic, and drivers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes when traveling westbound from Boring toward Gresham.
The lane is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. on Wednesday. However, weather conditions may affect the timeline, and the work may be rescheduled if necessary.
Oregon Department of Transportation advises drivers to check TripCheck.com for real-time traffic updates and to proceed with caution in work zones. Drivers are reminded to slow down, watch for road crews, and be alert to stopped vehicles.
