
The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an urgent appeal to the community in their ongoing search for Omayra Torres, a missing and endangered person who was last seen yesterday. According to the department's official news bulletin, Omayra was last spotted at her residence on the 3200 block of North Boudinot Street at about 7:00 a.m. and has not been seen since. The Police are encouraging anyone with information to come forward to assist in locating her.
The department's news release noted that Omayra, a 54-year-old woman described as 5’1” tall and 157 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, was last seen wearing a pink “Snoopy” shirt and grey sweatpants. She is easily identifiable by a smiley face tattoo located on her right ankle.
Members of the community who might have seen Omayra or have any information regarding her current location are urged to contact the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243 or dial 911 in an emergency.
