Two individuals sustained burn injuries following an apartment balcony fire late yesterday evening in northeast Charlotte, as clarified by the Charlotte Fire Department in a social media post. The fire, occurring in the 900 block of Grays Mill Road, was quickly handled by firefighters from Engine 35 and assisted by Harrisburg Fire, both patients were transported by MEDIC, though initial confusion arose when Charlotte Fire indicated both patients had non-life-threatening injuries while MEDIC reported one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
