Senior Deputy Todd Arthur of the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office has been put in the spotlight on social media, with a post highlighting his diverse experience and long-standing commitment to law enforcement and public service. According to a post from the CCSO's Facebook page, Deputy Arthur has been with the agency since 2019, after transferring from the Concord Police Department where he had a two-decade tenure.
Deputy Arthur's career in law enforcement started on patrol and expanded into roles within the Criminal Investigations division and a decade on the SWAT team, exhibiting his versatility in the field. Since joining CCSO, his responsibilities have varied from Patrol to the Crime Reduction Unit and Training, and having smoked pecan and pumpkin pies brought in by him, has impressed his colleagues with his culinary skills. He is currently assuming a critical position in the Courthouse and coordinates the Honor Guard, a role the post describes him taking "great pride in."
His expertise also extends to being a certified polygraph examiner and serving as Assistant Commander for the Civil Emergency Response Team at the CCSO.
