According to a news release from the CMPD, it was shortly before 7:30 p.m. when officers responded to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon Call for Service at the 1900 block of Milton Road. The initial investigation revealed that one individual had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene by MEDIC, marking another tragic instance of gun violence shaking local families and residents.
