The service, which is set to begin in 2026, promises to provide travelers with a reliable and affordable alternative for their commutes between cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. In a statement obtained by KTLA, the company said, "With frequent service across high-demand corridors, GOGO Charters aims to change the way people think about intercity and regional travel."
The routes are tailored to seamlessly link to not only key cities but also to establish connections with smaller stops like Ontario, Henderson, and Tempe. While fares will begin at a modest $10, they are expected to vary based on the demand and specific route. GOGO Charters encourages riders to utilize its app, which features real-time tracking and digital tickets, to conveniently book their trips. According to the company's Instagram post, the planned routes include Los Angeles to Las Vegas with a stop in Ontario, and a Phoenix to Las Vegas route with a stop in Henderson.
Focusing on comfort and convenience, GOGO Charters will feature "luxury motorcoaches" that come equipped with spacious seating, onboard Wi-Fi, and climate control. Through providing these amenities, GOGO Charters not only strives to surpass the current standards of intercity bus travel but also aims to offer an eco-friendly option by potentially reducing the number of cars on the road.
The need for such a service has become increasingly clear following Megabus's short-lived return to California in 2023 and subsequent withdrawal. This left many Southern California residents looking for alternative modes of transportation between L.A. and Las Vegas – a gap GOGO Charters is eager to fill. The expansion is part of a larger plan to roll out additional routes through 2025 and 2026 as they spread their reach nationwide.
